My name is Maren Weber, but I go by Aren (so I don't have to tell baristas how to spell it:). I've spent half my life on the east coast beach and the other half in the rural Blue Ridge Mountains.
I experienced a variety of conventional and unconventional education, shaping different view points and opportunities to learn a variety of skills.
Cartoons had a heavy influence on me growing up and I like to use a combination of cartoon styles in my art. I'm interested in all forms of art creation and I'm always experimenting with different media and techniques. I love all colors, but primary color palettes are my favorite! I also enjoy creative writing and I'm working on several projects combining my writing and illustration.
In January of 2024 I started a clown inspired fashion and art
business called Molars by Maw and I have been enjoying hand making accessories and jewelry. During high school I was interested in becoming a clown and you'll see some clown and circus imagery pop up in my art portfolio as well! I also have some decent juggling and balloon animal skills under my belt, wink wink ;)
